A close relative of Sichuan pepper, Mack Khen is known for its beautiful aromatic elegance, with a fresh but fruity taste, with intense notes of citrus and mandarin
How to use it
This berry, native to Laos, is not a pepper, but a close relative of the Chinese Szechuan and the Japanese Sansho. Grind it to the desired size in a traditional pepper mill and sprinkle it on the dishes of your choice. Mostly used with fish and pork, but can also be used with any other meat. For a unique, fresh taste, grind it finely and pour it over salads or roasted vegetables. Mack Khen is rich in bioactive compounds that have been traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine for generations. Glass jar with twist-off lid (thus preventing the contact with the air and foreign elements).
