Flower Salt Delta Ebro is a delicate salt hand harvested daily following traditional methods in the Ebro Delta Natural Park (Biosphere Reserve). Ideal for seasoning all kinds of food.
Introduction
This salt is hand harvested by skimming the very surface of the salt ponds, obtaining only the salt crystals formed on the top layer.
How to use it
Sea salt with a delicate flavor,a light and moist texture, and with a high mineral content, is used by chefs and gastronomy experts at the final preparation of food (salads, grilled meats, foie gras, chocolates, sweets, fish and vegetables) and also in the table. Less salt to be used than standard salt, because it is purer and dissolves easier in food juices or in mouth with easiness.
Health benefits
This salt contains significant amounts of calcium and magnesium salts, considered beneficial to health. In the process of collecting and packaging, no anti-humectants, caking agents, aditives are used, nor it is added iodine or fluorine. During the natural process of salt concentration by evaporation of sea salt till its crystallisation, the high concentration of salt per liter ensures that no bacteria can survive nor any other form of life.
